I received the VeraTemp Non-Contact Thermometer from Kidz-Med to review. I have seen these cool thermometers for a long time now and have been wanting to try them but figured they may not be very accurate. So I got this very fast and had to read the instruction book with it to see how it worked. I loved how it has 3 different settings body, surface and room that was so cool. I could see my room temp in just seconds and it was truly accurate. Same goes for the temp I followed behind with a traditional thermometer and it is very accurate for not actually going in your mouth or anything I love that. I don't know about everyone but when I'm sick with a cold the last thing I feel like doing is holding my breathe to check my temp due to my nose is stopped up bad. With this it puts that to rest and its super fast almost as soon as you touch the button. Also for any who have babies and don't want to wake them but want to keep a monitor on there temp then this is definitely a better choice than traditional. Also kids won't fuss to have their temps taken anymore that's a plus all thanks to Kidz-Med for making this great thermometer. So I want to recommend this to everyone and hope you give it a chance I think anyone who tries one of these will never switch back to any traditional thermometers again.

I have tried a non-contact thermometer during my medical assisting externship. They are so easy to use, all my patients were shocked about how fast and easy it was to get their temperature. I have wanted one since the first time I used one at the doctors office. It would make it much easier to get my toddlers temp when she is sick.
