Mother's Day Just Around The Corner

Mother's Day is just around the corned and I would love to share with ya'll some of the advise my mom taught me at a young age that has always stuck with me. My mom has always loved us kids unconditional and she always taught me to stand up for myself and I think that was the best thing she could have gave me the advise on. It has stuck with me throughout my whole life and although I have no kids every child I have ever help raise i have passed on to them. Because of this great advise I have been a more independent person and been able to roll with the punches and all around be a better person. I have found so many times in life people will knock you down and if you don't stand up for yourself a lot of times no one will. I'm so grateful for the mom I have and will always love her for teaching me so many things especially this great thing. There is so little time really with your mother so why not make the special moments count in life and take with you and share with your kids as well. Although I hope to have kids to pass this down to one day if not I will continue to teach others about it because it is a great thing to carry with you through life. I love my mother and I hope you will make this Mother's Day for her just as special as I plan to for my mom.

Light Affection Night Light Review & Giveaway(Closed)

I received the night light from Light Affection to review. Everyone knows what night lights are but have you ever seen anything like this one? This company lets you use your own pics and they have it carved into this light with frame and all and then when the light is own it almost looks real. This was such a cool idea I couldn't wait to see how it looked in person. I sent off with my cat Gage in it and he is gray and black I posted the pic below of the one I sent them too. When I got it I was so amazed that it looked just like the picture and the plaque that sits int he frame is so nice looking. This is not cheaply made at all very great value for what you get. We needed a night light in the bathroom so this is where I put it and it lights up the whole bathroom which we love cause at night no one wants to turn on the over head light if their half asleep. With this it gives off a peaceful glow but still enough to light up the room. When it is lit up Gage's pic almost looks 3d I love it. This is such a unique gift to give to anyone in your life for any occasion and I promise you its something they don't have cause everyone will be unique with the picture alone. Southern Magnolia Minerals Review & Giveaway(Closed)

I received several items of makeup including blush and foundation powder from Southern Magnolia Minerals to review. I got this more for my mom than anything to try because she loves where they talk about on tv about mineral makeups bein light weight and such. Anyways I got this pretty fast and I decided to keep the foundation powder because it was a medium shade which I am. I put it on one day and I love how it feels so light weight that part is very true compared to regular makeup. It blends nicely and takes my color well which I loved. I didn't have to reapply it throughout the day like I have to do some makeup I've used in the past. As for my mom she absolutely loves this stuff she said she actually enjoys wearing makeup now all thanks to mineral makeup. She said normally she feels like there is a caked on mess on her face yet with this she said its so light weight you forget its even there. She loves the colors as well very pretty especially the blush. The only thing we didn't like was some didn't come with anything holdin the powder in so when you opened it up you ended up with makeup on you. I do know this comes out of clothes better than traditional makeup though found that out first hand.
