Who Don't Need Health Insurance

It is so sad now days with the economy being so bad and people in between jobs and such that who can really afford health care these days. I know personally with my family my mom is the only one who has health care right now because we just can't afford it. Its funny though because until my mom got put in the hospital for her heart blockage a couple years back they didn't want to give her medicaid or medicare and she has been on disability for years yet they still didn't want to help her. She had a 95% blockage in her heart and got a stint put in her heart and got kept in the hospital for a good week or so before the hospital tried to help her get some help. First she got short term health insurance before her regular medicare and medicaid kicked in. The short term health insurance can come in quiet handy for awhile until you can get the regular to kick in. This is also great for people in between jobs as well which is a must now days with the economy doing so bad. I know I was sure thankful when they were able to help my mom with the short term health insurance because if not I'm not exactly sure what we would have done, I mean she needed medications, she needed to follow up with doctors closer to home, and we couldn't afford to take it out of the house finances. If nothing else short term health insurance comes in handy for lots of reasons and totally worth getting until you can get what you need or better insurance just the same. Not too mention there are companies to help those who are not from the usa as well because the short term is only for usa citizens so we don't want to forget visitor insurance USA to help those visiting as well. I know I owe my moms life where she was able to get her heart medications and such due to health insurance of any kind for that matter.
