Safety in Your Home

You know its kind of funny I used to never think about how many fires happen in peoples homes, until it was all over the internet and television. So many people lose there homes everyday due to a fire all because they really don't know what to do to keep there homes and family safe. Well I'm one of those people I mean I have been married for 10 years now to a ex fire fighter so the last thing I thought of is keeping something so simple as alarms and fire extinguishers in my home. Yet me and my husband were talking about it and its safe for everyone to have there house checked to make sure everything is up to date. Like your wiring's in your home due to being old or outdated, to making sure you have fresh batteries in your smoke alarm, and never forget your fire extinguishers in several rooms of your home. I know we have a smoke alarm in this place we rent but I know I got to get one for the kitchen as well no matter how annoying they can be they may just save a life especially when your sleeping. I have never owned a fire extinguisher before so not even sure what size I need, or how to install one in a room on the little ledge thing or nothing. I got to do my research on these to know what rooms need them more than others, I assume kitchen is probably the biggest deal. I was thinking though if you put any fire extinguishers in the kitchen and a fire breaks out in there how do you get to it. Anyways if you don't have one look into getting your self one to keep you, your home, and your family safe.

I am compensated with money for this sponsored post. This is 100% my life experience though.

When people are concerned and lives are at stake, fire safety is a critical, critical issue. Having recently moved into a refurbished office and with an on-site kitchen I felt it was important (and legislatively required) to provide Fire Extinguishers and Discount Fire Supplies offered me a wide choice at very reasonable prices. I also purchased one for my family home too!
