Addiction

You know its funny most people when they think of addictions they think of bad things like drugs, or alcohol but you know there are other addictions out there I mean all addictions if pushed over the edge can be harmful but I know mines weird..lol...





My Addiction Is Mail!! Not email, USPS Mail!! I don't know as far back as I can remember I loved to get the mail out of our P.O. Box then when I got older and we got a mailbox outside our house then it was even worse. It got so bad I would be up every morning and outside waiting at the mailbox when my mailman would pull up he never even had to put my mail in the box never even used it. When I first moved to where I'am now think I scared the mailman cause I started screaming when I finally got mail and went running up on him in his car...so desperate had gone without for a week already. I have gone to so far as to be home, awake, check the mail as soon as i got home, or jumped at it when i woke up just so I could see what I got today in the mail. I order lots of catalogs just so i have something to look forward to receiving in the mail. Then when I got into freebies it got even worse.. I was always ordering freebies for more mail to come in my name. Then I started doing these reviews and giveaways and not only do I see the mail carrier but also UPS & FedEx and thats just pure heaven then its made my whole day to see them show up. I also do alot of shopping online just to see more mail I got so many boxes and envelopes around the house that I've kept its not even funny. I know my addiction now days has turned into more of an obsession which is crazy but I seriously alot of times HATE holidays due to NO mail! I love the slogan of the USPS "No Snow Nor Sleet, Nor Rain Will Keep Us From Delivering The US Postal Mail" too bad holidays does, thats where UPS & FedEx become my favorites at that time.

Today was just another one of the days I hate I barely get through Sundays to wake up today wanting my mail I got frantic by 2pm when my mail is usually here by 11am, so I was thinkin someone stole it was even thinkin bout callin the post office to make a complaint but FedEx showed up with a package for me and I was so happy to see him I met him at his truck before he even got off it, when I came back in I thought well the mail has to be running today cause FedEx is but then thought no wrong FedEx & UPS run holidays as well, so looked at the calendar and low and behold Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday now don't get me wrong he was a good man but did they have to take my mail away come on. Well I'm sorry you have had to site here and listen to my weird addiction.... just wanted to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading!
