In this book many ideas and theories were brought out.Some were believable while others in my opinion were far fetched. I think the author covered all aspects of ideas currently believed. To me the Yellow Stone Park super volcano seems the most likely. I don't think the Mayans' intended for their predictions to be a destruction of the world, just a change from what we know the world to be like as we know it. It also doesn't make sence to me of Planet X colliding with Earth since we don't have any way of seeing that far away yet. As far as the McKenan brothers,I don't trust someone's opinion that uses drugs.As the author states in the Bible it says Jesus doesn't even know when the end times are. Only God knows and he isn't telling.
I think the author's idea is right, all we can do is put our Trust in God and live the way he has always wanted us to. In believing in him we will be ready when the end comes. Thus knowing he will take us home with him and we have nothing to fear. All we have to do is hold on to his love and ask for forgiveness of our sins.

Being an avid reader, I think the world of books is the most remarkable creation of man. Nothing else that he builds ever lasts except books. In their world, there are volumes that have seen this happen again and again and yet live on, still young, still as fresh as the day they were written, still telling men's hearts of the heart of men centuries dead.
