Juil Apollo Shoes Review

Thanks to Juil for providing me with the product/products below to review with no purchase.

I received the Apollo Sandals from Juil to review. I got these pretty fast and even in holiday shipping time I got them fast I love that. I love the box they come in so elegant and unique and easy to keep your shoes in when not wearing them as well as the pouch you will find in the box. The box has a pull out tab that slides your shoes out to be revealed. The bag is very stylish I think the bag is a bit big for the shoes but who cares that just leaves you room to throw more stuff in them as well as the shoes. I wasn't sure how comfortable these shoes were gonna be cause on the site I noticed they had what seemed like metal things on it where your toes and heal fit on but you really cant tell its any different than other sandals. On the site it says the copper is there to enhance energy if I read that right on their site. So far I can't say I see a difference with that but please don't take my word on that cause sadly started a new medication that makes me tired all the time. These sandals are definitely the most comfortable ones I have ever worn it says its supposed to be as comfortable as bein barefoot. Well I tell you I love bein barefoot so that's probably why they are so comfortable to me. I recommend anyone getting a pair shoes from Juil and trying for themselves. Now they are a bit pricey but for uniqueness, style, comfort, and quality they are worth it. Also these make awesome Christmas presents so check them out today.

Beauty Encounter Review

Thanks to Beauty Encounter for providing me with the product/products below to review with no purchase.

I received Nautica Classic from Beauty Encounter to review. I got this fast and not gonna lie I don't know much about the different sizes for a Perfume And Cologne bottle yet this was alot bigger than I figured I'd be getting. One of my friends loves this cologne and he pays top dollar for it and that's just a small bottle so figured this would be a great Christmas present for him. Normally when I have searched for this brand it was over $50 easily so as you can see here this company has it marked way down and affordable. Not only are you getting your moneys worth but I opened it and smelled it, its the real thing not a knock off so great value for that. They not only have perfumes and colognes but other beauty products as well. They sale makeup and hair products and so on all their prices are great and won't break your pocket. I am always on a search for sites I can buy more than one thing from bein you pay for shipping and all so I want my moneys worth with this company you can do that you can rack up alot of things for Christmas for all your loved ones in one spot and even some things for you. So if you have never heard of Beauty Encounter then what are you waiting for head to their site and read up and shop shop shop! Also just so you know you buy $60 or more everyday and you get free shipping.

FRAAS Tech Gloves Review

Thanks to Fraas for providing me with the product/products below to review with no purchase.

I received the Tech Gloves from FRAAS to review. I got these fast and couldn't wait to check them out. I have had the wonderful opportunity of workin with this company before and have yet to be let down by them. They always have fast shipping and great quality products. I took these out of the bag they were in and I love the color right off the bat the color choices they have give a bit of color to your winter wardrobe that's for sure. I love that they are not over thick and doesn't make it hard to touch and use on your phone or other touch screen devices yet still warm enough to keep you hands toasty this winter. I have a touchscreen phone and I think it was easier to touch my phone better with the gloves on than when they are off. My screen is never smeared after using these gloves and it never scratches the screen either. They are soft to the touch as well as you can also rub your face with them and feel the softness and they wont scratch your skin off... hehe. Anyways these gloves are a must have for anyone this winter who has any touchscreen devices as well as want to keep warm while bein in touch with technology. So check out FRAAS for these gloves as well as some really nice things for this winter and holiday season they are sure to make anyone smile when receiving their gift.

Mobi Tyke Light Review & Giveaway(Closed)

Thanks to Mobi for providing me with the product/products below to review with no purchase.

I received the Monkey AnimaLamp from Mobi to review. This came fast and I couldn't wait to see this work cause I think it is just the coolest little invention and great for any child as well as adults just to have somethin cute and new. I put this little light on my desk and I love that its just a simple touch no pushing hard to turn it on so no one should have any issues with turning it on. Its a very bright led light and lit up my whole desk. If you hover your finger over and slowly move your finger over the power button it will dim the light to a lower setting so not quiet as bright. The easy on off is awesome you just tap it and it turns on and off nothin hard about this. You can angle the head of the light any position to shine down on one thing or across the room. This is a great christmas present as well for any kid in your life. It can sit on any table and just look cute and truly without knowin its a light you would never know cause it just looks like somethin a kid would have in their room like a toy or somethin. My niece saw it when she came over and it caught her attention quick to she said now she wants one too and she is a teenager but its just too adorable not to have. Mobi has alot of unique cute items so check them out and see what you can find and they have other animals besides the monkey too.

  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups SPLENDA® Sugar Blend for Baking
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups 2% reduced-fat milk

Things Needed

3 bowls 1 large and 2 medium

measuring devices for tsp and cups (liquid & Dry Measures)

Your choice of icing

Mixer (electric)

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Coat two 8-inch cake pans with nonfat cooking spray. Dust with flour.

COMBINE flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder in a medium bowl. Beat butter in large mixer bowl at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add SPLENDA® Sugar Blend for Baking; beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla extract; mix until blended.

COMBINE water and milk in medium bowl.

ADD 1/2 of the flour mixture and mix at low speed until well blended. Add water and milk; mix at low speed until well blended. Add remaining flour mixture and beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Spoon batter evenly into prepared pans.

BAKE for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

SPREAD whatever icing you decide I just put regular icing on mine milk chocolate but if your staying sugar free best to pick up what was originally to go with this and that was sugar free cool whip.

All The Ingredients I used (Pillsbury baking spray, Arm & Hammer Baking soda, McCormick pure vanilla extract, generic baking powder, generic baking cocoa, store brand eggs, store brand 2 % milk, store brand butter, all purpose flour)
I also forgot the splenda sugar blend in the pic below
1st I sprayed the pan and lightly dusted with flour wish I had dusted less cause it showed up on my cake grrr hate when that happens
this is a pic in the medium bowl with flour and cocoa powder thats it

this is the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and baking powder all in a medium bowl (dry contents only)
I melted butter in microwave then for about 2 mins then put in large bowl (for liquids)
Blended the butter with mixer til it looked creamy and smooth
  Another shot of it
Then little by little you blend in the splenda which fluffs up the butter alot as you can see
I couldn't show the pic of it but then you add the vanilla in it and blend some more you can see how its more yellow looking due to that though
this is in the 3rd bowl which is also medium is your water and milk mixed alone
then you pour the water and milk mix into the butter and splenda mix... yucky I hated the consistency of it at first thought I did somethin wrong but its supposed to go through this step.
Closer shot of the texture its only where the hot butter mixes crappy with water
Then you pour the flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda mix into the large bowl. You have to add a little at a time till all is mixed in. It will still have the same texture for a bit though no worries there.
Once all blended it will look like this and its smooth and taste so good you can't even tell its made with splenda and not sugar
Pour in the pan after and put it in the oven and then cook it thats it
I got messy as you can see with flour and cocoa powder on my apron
This is why i hated flour ugh but then you cover up with icing of course but this is after its baked.
I cut this and put icing only on one half and it wasn't meant to look too pretty just tasty hehe even though you can add your icing prettier if you would like this makes 2 cakes this one below is the 2nd cake after it was iced.
