Smarter & Educational Toys

I went to Wal*Mart today to go grocery shopping and while we were there we decided to waste some time like we always do and look around. I usually head straight to electronics but to get there you by the toy isles so we usually look at what toys are out now days. We always just like this morning get into the conversation about how toys have changed so much over time. Me and my husband are 15 years difference so the toys he used to play with in the 60's and 70's were way gone by the time I was born in the 80's. I do remember a lot of the toys we had when I was younger though they were really about the toy doing something to get kids attention. Like put a battery in and it dances or sings or whatever just to keep there attention longer and sadly kill our imagination. Its funny I helped raise my nephew and he's 14 now and I noticed around the time he was born they started switching over to more Educational kids toys than just for fun, with stuff like leap frog and such which was a great idea. If you can get a head start of teaching your kids early how to spell, or write or talk or whatever it will make things easier for you and your child. They say that a child the younger they are can learn better than the older they get so it would be a bonus to start as young as can be then. I know by the time my niece was born in 1999 things had jumped from the beginning in 1996 to sky rocketing into the stores with every isle having more Educational kids toys than just for fun toys. So make sure to check out getting toys to help your child learn more at a early age.

I am compensated with money for this sponsored post. This is 100% my life experience though.
